  • The Skilled Independent 189 Visa is a permanent visa designed for skilled workers who submit an expression of interest on the SkillSelect website and subsequently receive an invitation to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia.

     

    With this visa, you can:

     

    • Work and study anywhere in Australia.

    • Sponsor eligible relatives for permanent residence.

    • If eligible, pursue Australian citizenship.

     

    Requirements:

     

    • Possess an occupation listed on the relevant skilled occupation list.

    • Obtain a suitable skills assessment for the nominated occupation.

    • Receive an invitation to apply for this visa.

    • Satisfy the points test.

     

    It's worth noting that citizens of New Zealand and Hong Kong have different eligibility conditions for this visa.

     

    Processing time: 50% of applications are processed within 5 months, and 90% are completed within 18 months.
     

    Application Cost: From AUD $4,765.00

  • The Skilled Nominated 190 Visa is a permanent visa based on points assessment, designed for skilled workers who receive a nomination from an Australian State or Territory government.
     

    With this visa, you can:

     

    • Work and study anywhere in Australia.

    • Sponsor eligible relatives for permanent residence.

    • If eligible, become an Australian citizen.
       

    Requirements:

    ​

    To be eligible for the Skilled Nominated 190 Visa, you must:

    • Have been nominated for this visa by an Australian state or territory government agency.

    • Submit a completed Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect. State and territory government agencies can view your completed EOI and may nominate you for the visa.

    • Score a minimum of 65 points to be invited to apply.

    • Have an occupation listed on the relevant occupation list.

    • Complete a successful skills assessment for the relevant occupation.

    • Demonstrate at least competent English proficiency (IELTS 6 or PTE 50).

    • Be under 45 years of age.

    • Meet the health and character requirements.

     

    Processing time: 50% of applications are processed within 3 months, and 90% are completed within 24 months.
     

    Application Cost: From AUD $4,770.00

  • The Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa - 491 is a provisional visa tailored for skilled workers aspiring to reside and work in regional Australia.
     

    Under this visa, you and all members of your family unit who are also holders of the visa, will need to reside, work, and study in a designated regional area of Australia.
     

    With this visa, you can:
     

    • Stay in Australia for 5 years.

    • Live, work, and study in a designated regional area of Australia.

    • Travel to and from Australia as many times as you want, while the visa is valid.

    • Apply for permanent residence after 3 years from the time your visa is granted.
       

    Requirements:

    ​

    • Be nominated to apply by a state or territory government agency, or have an eligible relative sponsor you.

    • Have an occupation on a relevant skilled occupation list.

    • Obtain a suitable skills assessment for the nominated occupation.

    • Be invited to apply.

    • Satisfy the points test.



    Processing time: 50% of applications are processed within 11 months, and 90% are completed within 21 months.
